Application and Flyer
The Forty Niner Youth Soccer
League is looking for interested players for boys
and girls U16 and U19 Division IV teams for the
up coming 2008 Fall season. Teams will participate against
other area District VI teams in the Greater Sacramento
Area. The season is a 10 game schedule that begins in
Sept through Mid November plus teams can enter in Division
IV tournaments as well as the season ending District Cup
Tournament. Practices begin in late July. In 2007, we
fielded 4 successful teams in our very first season.
The Forty Niner Youth Soccer
League (49er YSL) is comprised of 5 recreational soccer
clubs representing the areas of Auburn, Newcastle, Foresthill,
Placer Hills and Colfax. 49er YSL is committed to providing
a positive recreational soccer experience for the children
in our community. Our goals are simple: Provide a safe
and encouraging environment to learn the game of soccer,
teach sportsmanship and the concept of working together
as a team, and most importantly, EVERYONE PLAYS!
The majority of 49er YSL
teams are Division 4 (recreational class). Due to the
smaller number of U-16 and U-19 teams, they are called
“CPL” and they play teams from surrounding
areas. If you were born between August 1, 1989 and July
31, 1994 you are eligible to participate.
Player registration fees
include a full uniform package with jersey(s), shorts
and socks, basic picture package including team photo
and team entry fee for District Cup*. Email all registration
